VETRERA / LEGAL
Terms of Use
These Terms cover the Vetrera product website and related services provided by Keepdoit Development LLC, a company organized in Wyoming, United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”). They also explain the service conditions that accompany Vetrera applications on the platforms and versions we make available.
Please read these Terms before using Vetrera. If you do not agree, do not use the website or app. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
1. What Vetrera provides
Vetrera is an independent media player. It lets you access supported media sources and play local files you are authorized to use. We do not supply, sell, or host a catalog of films or television programs, and using the app does not give you rights to any media content.
The website describes the product and provides support and compatibility information. Supported platforms, system requirements, and features are identified in the relevant product listing and compatibility information. Availability can vary by platform, version, territory, distribution channel, applicable law, and third-party services.
2. App license and intellectual property
For copies obtained through Apple’s App Store, the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate license is expressly supplied with that copy. These Terms supplement the service and website aspects of your use and do not replace that software license. If there is a conflict about the app license, the applicable app license controls. For any release made available through another distribution channel, the license and distribution terms identified with that release apply.
The Vetrera software, brand, and original website materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use website materials to learn about and use the product, but may not redistribute them commercially or misrepresent an affiliation with us without permission. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses, including any rights those licenses grant.
3. Your media, accounts, and permitted use
Only connect sources and use media you own or are authorized to access. You are responsible for your permissions, media-server accounts, and compliance with applicable copyright laws and third-party terms. You keep your rights in your media; these Terms do not give us ownership of it or a license to publish it.
Do not use Vetrera to infringe rights, access systems without authorization, bypass access controls unlawfully, distribute malware, or interfere with another person’s systems or service. Keep credentials secure and avoid sharing secrets in public support requests. Maintain backups of important media and settings.
If you are not legally able to accept these Terms on your own, use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian as required by applicable law.
4. Media providers and third-party services
Your media server, WebDAV server, network share, Jellyfin, Emby Connect, Plex, Apple, and other services you choose have their own terms, privacy practices, and availability. They may impose separate fees or restrictions. Vetrera does not include or pay for those services.
We do not control third-party content, accounts, servers, or APIs. Changes to those services, network failures, or account restrictions may affect a connection or feature. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Jellyfin, Emby, or Plex. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Features, Pro access, and pricing
Playback depends on your device, operating-system version, app version, media codecs, subtitles, source capabilities, and network. A supported file extension does not guarantee every combination of video, audio, and subtitles will work. Server-side transcoding and online subtitle search require support from the connected server. See the Compatibility Guide for current limitations.
Playback buffering and prefetching are not an offline-download service. Some functions require ongoing access to your media source or an online service.
Using Vetrera requires Vetrera Pro, which is offered in the app in the following forms:
- Monthly and annual subscriptions: auto-renewing subscriptions in one subscription group. New subscribers can start with a 3-day free trial, available once per Apple Account for that group as determined by Apple.
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks Pro for your Apple Account. “Lifetime” refers to the Pro unlock; it is not a promise of updates, of support for a particular system, or of availability on other platforms.
Prices, billing periods, and any trial are shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, for a free trial, when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. If you purchase a different plan during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited. Purchases are not shared through Family Sharing.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Restoring purchases in the app reapplies existing valid purchases for the same Apple Account.
We may change prices for new purchases. Launch prices are offered for a limited time after release. If we raise a subscription price, existing subscribers are notified as Apple requires; subscribers who joined at a launch price continue renewing at that price while their subscription continues without interruption, using Apple’s option to preserve prices for existing subscribers. Third-party fees are separate.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, connections to third parties, website requests, support correspondence, and your choices. Do not send us passwords, access tokens, or media files you are not authorized to share.
7. Updates and ending use
We may update Vetrera to fix problems, improve compatibility, or change features. We may also stop offering a feature or service. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable or required by law and honor any applicable paid entitlements and mandatory consumer rights. This does not guarantee perpetual support for a particular system, format, or third-party service.
You can stop using the website or app at any time. Signing out, deleting a saved account, and removing a source have different effects, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
The termination provisions of the applicable app license govern that license. We may restrict access to services we operate where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, material breaches, or security threats, with notice where appropriate. Ending use does not transfer ownership of your media to us.
8. Warranties and responsibility
Subject to applicable law and the applicable app license, the website and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every file or third-party system. These statements do not exclude any mandatory guarantee, right to a remedy, or obligation to provide the service with legally required care.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the website or related services. To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to the website and related services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for those services in the 12 months before the claim arose or US$50. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability relating to the app itself is also subject to its applicable license.
9. Website content
The website includes both app screenshots and clearly identified illustrative interfaces. Example titles, artwork, and interface demonstrations do not constitute an included or playable media catalog. Descriptions reflect the stated version and availability; release information and compatibility guidance may change.
10. Applicable law and resolving concerns
Except where the applicable app license provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by Wyoming law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law that applies where you live. Any mandatory rights to bring a claim in your local courts remain unaffected. These Terms do not require private arbitration or a waiver of collective claims.
Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from seeking any remedy available under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these Terms and contact
We will identify revisions with an updated date and provide reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect where required. Where a change requires your consent, we will ask for it.
